Same thing happened to me with Google Ads. The CPA for dev tools is insanely high. What worked: find the exact subreddit/forum where your users complain about the problem, and just be helpful there. Zero ad spend, way better results.

If your spend is only $500, you haven't exited the learning phase. Facebook needs ~50 conversions to optimize. Either commit the budget or skip FB entirely.

Facebook ads work for emotional purchases, not analytical ones. Try LinkedIn ads instead. More expensive per click but the intent is 10x higher.
